Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: knitting, pruning, - ornamentals and edibles, cooking/baking, no/low-till farming practices, foraging for wild food, knot tying, can teach fundamentals for blues, salsa, bachata, and kizomba dance

Learn: anything related to farming! afro-latin dance styles! would love to practice French and Portuguese

Share: FOOD, always! I bring fresh organically raised fruit, veg, and pasture raised meats/eggs most places I go. Awesome playlists. Cannabis sometimes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking - I LOVE to prepare meals with whatever is on hand, figuring out how to please everyone and accommodate allergies/preferences. If I'm near a good farmer's market, I'd scrounge something good up to contribute. Otherwise I bring food from my farm. Need squash? Potatoes? I got that.

Domestic chores - I like to clean and organize, I'm not squeamish about scrubbing bathrooms or doing a deep cleanse of the refrigerator. Laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, trash, washing dishes - I'm game for almost anything.

Yard work/garden work/farm work - I've done landscaping, farming, and homegardening since I was 10 years old. Capable of the most mundane weeding tasks, up to mowing lawns, pruning edible and ornamentals, running tractor equipment, splitting wood, caring for livestock (all kinds). I've done a fair amount of interior/exterior painting, too, if that was ever relevant.

Childcare - I grew up with a mom who ran a school aged daycare out of our home for 20 years, where I naturally fell into a big sister role. I helped her out with meals, games, discipline and supervising when I got old enough to do so. I cared for kids on my own from the age of 11 through college, as a date-night babysitter as well as a part time nanny. I'm reliable, energetic, and creative - I'm also not a doormat and don't put up with bullshit.
