我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I made the decision to attend Aftershock in October 2016. I would prefer to stay with locals that are also going to the concert as I will be coming from South Africa by myself. I also hope this experience will be the beginning of my participation in the Couchsurfing community :)

Terry Prachett is my all time favourite author. I generally enjoy reading good books and if someone says a particular book is really good, I'll give it a try. My genre preferences are witty, funny books (such as Terry Prachett, Marian Keyes, Douglas Adams); horror/thriller; who-done-its with good plot twists.

Movies are pretty much the same as books - if it's good, I'll watch it. Once again I prefer who-done-its. I really like comedy but I find really good comedy movies hard to come by. I do not like romcoms at all.

My music taste is pretty much rock, alternative, metal. I also discovered a little while ago that I really enjoy dancing to Drum n Bass.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This is more a crazy thing than anything else - I saw the lineup for Aftershock in the morning (I'd never even heard of Aftershock before that) and bought my ticket that evening. The one time I've been on an aeroplane was for 2 hours from Cape Town to Johannesburg. I've only ever been out of my country twice for a weekend each time - to Zimbabwe and Swaziland. So buying this ticket is definitely the craziest thing I have ever done! I even had to renew my passport because it had expired.
