CURRENT MISSION
Finding out what I really want
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly and have a very relaxed character but when there's an interesting activity or party I'm the first to join in. Sometimes I'm a bit clumsy. But just sometimes.
Another important thing about me is that I'm straight and this is not going to change. Might be a bit boring in the 21st century, I know. If you are gay, this is absolutely fine, I'm not homophobic. Just respect my sexuality as you want yours to be respected and we will get along well.
PHILOSOPHY
"I prefer a skeptical Catholic to a devout atheist." -Kurt Tucholsky
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I'm just surfing, because I don't even own a couch.
I visited a few little CS meetings in Melbourne and Brisbane, where I met some interesting people. A Brazilian girl told me that she is used to CS meetings of a few hundred people... I think I should go to more meetings.

Interests
I play Handball and even trained a children team. Also I love music (almost every kind of it), good movies and reading fantasy and science fiction books. Another interest of mine is history. And sometimes I waste a whole night by reading wikipedia articles about any subject and following every link I don't know.

Music, Movies, and Books
Nothing particular, my interests are widely ranged.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done in my life definitely was the walking tour from Munich to Venice. I needed one month for it and saw so many beautiful places. When I standed on St. Mark's Square I was the proudest person of the world.
But the 'Star Wars'- and the 'Lord of the Rings'-marathon with some of my friends were really amazing too, I confess.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can say "cheers" in 11 languages: Prost / Zum Wohl, Cheers, Salud, Cin Cin, Sláinte, Iechyd Da, Skål, Terviseks, Santé, Gān bēi, Vô...
And some Punjabi Indians told me they use "Chakde Phatte" as "Down it!" But a Tamil Indian told me it means "Enjoy the party!" So I won't count this one.
This list is to be continued.
