ABOUT ME

I am a human being from flesh and blood. I try to do the things I want to do and live out the life I imagined for myself. Sometimes I'm spontaneous and cheerful, sometimes I feel sad and rainy. There are the times when I am social and joyful, but at times all I want to is some solitude and peace. I`m alive and I want to prolong this feeling for as long as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I’ve just registered, I don’t have any real experience with this community yet. First and foremost my partner and I are looking for a room in a flat to share with some friendly people in Edinburgh. And of course we would love to meet some people with whom we could socialize, share interests and ideas, learn something new and just laugh together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard a lot about CouchSurfing community from my friends but never had a chance to join before. Now as my partner and I are going to spend a year in Edinburgh we would be happy to meet interesting and curious people.

Interests

My main hobbies are travelling and ceramic art. I also like reading, photography, sailing, cooking, modern arts, culture, cinematography, snowboarding and many others. Most of them depend on a mood and weather conditions:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I`ve jumped with a parachute, seen Africa from the only place it can be seen from the Old Land, observed a sunk ship while diving, seen the tomb of Timur and Medrese, created by his craftsmen, stood on the westernmost extent of continental Europe. I`ve done quite a lot of interesting things and had unforgettable experiences, that I will be happy to share with other people who might be interested in them.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I`ve studied in artistic class at school I could teach some ceramic techniques.
My mother tongue is Russian and I could teach this language.
I would be very happy to join a sailing team in Edinburgh. I used to be a member of a sailing club quite a long time ago, but unfortunately since then I haven`t got a chance to hoist the sail again.
As I`am not a native English speaker I want to improve my English language skills. Attending speakers course or participating in acting class would be fantastic:)
