Overview
About Me
I'm a simple man. A man of culture and a Master Jedi…
Of course I enjoy hosting and meeting new and interesting people on Couchsurfing. I think, fears aside, most people would find something like that enjoyable, even exciting.
When I can, I'm happy to host. This is a judgment free space. If I invite you or before you send a request please understand that. If you have specific questions I'm happy to chat with you. I feel that no one should be ostracized for being authentic. In my opinion part of what makes the excitement of meeting different people is when everyone is authentic. (Oh if only, imagine the fun lol) Otherwise what's the point of exploring if all you ever encounter is more of the same?
I'm very open to extended stays. Just communicate with me and see what we can work out… I feel I can offer you something a little better than a typical hostel and more on par with an airbnb yet significantly cheaper than both. This ONLY applies to special circumstances that may (and have) come up. Otherwise my hosting is 100 percent free…

Wanna know what happens when you find a host that you are at least somewhat excited about? You relax a little. And when you relax you attract what you want. Next thing you know, suddenly you have a few more options and opportunities. Great!!
(A similar thing also happens in romance but maybe that’s a conversation over dinner lol)
If you confirmed a stay with me and something changes please lemme know. I appreciate that…

I live in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Sunset Park. The park itself is about 3 blocks from my apartment. It features a huge neighborhood swimming pool, basketball courts, handball courts, the farmers market and a nice view of the city skyline. You can also see the Statue of Liberty in the distance.
It’s culturally diverse. Chinatown is literally around the corner there is also a large Hispanic and Hasidic Jewish population here. Because of the diversity there are more delicious food options than I’m even aware of. Literally more places to eat that I haven’t even tried yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I need some more variety in my life. To meet some different people, to experience some different things… Maybe make some nice memories.

Music, Movies, and Books
Media wise ? I can go for main stream science fiction and fantasy to the rare sensual and racy stuff you might find at some small rickety hole in the wall independent book store.
Otherwise I’d say I’m fairly acquainted with all of the big movies and shows from pop culture. From Star Wars to Harry Potter, from Game of Thrones to Breaking Bad. Streaming services like Netflix have at times been something like a companion to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I experienced homelessness in New York City. I slept on Park benches, subway trains, 24 hour coffee shops, cyber cafes etc…
So I took this path into the city that was lonely, scary and also at times strangely erotic. I guess the public perception of my homelessness created a space where I could comfortably be less. And there was a strange freedom that came with that. One I absolutely took advantage of. I'm not endorsing becoming homeless. I'm just saying I kinda made it work.
There was no one that I had to be. If I wanted to lay out on a park bench all day and just smoke weed and juggle my balls… Nobody cared!! Long as I wasn't harrassing people or chasing them etc… Nobody cared.
Then whenever I got hungry I'd sit near a Starbucks or a McDonald's and just hold up a sign. People would give me money. So speaking in an objective sense I'd say that was all amazing. Experienceing homelessness has changed my perception of reality itself.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can do the museum thing. I have a membership to the natural history museum, so I can get myself and like 4 others in for free. Explore the city and take pictures. Maybe smoke the peace pipe or split an edible. Also I enjoy coop video games, games where we work together to beat the game.
