I've been homeless, it humbled me greatly. I’ve slept on park benches, subway trains, in all night coffee shops and cyber cafes etc… I never ate out of a trash can though (fuck that). Though often I did depend on the kindness of strangers for money and food. In doing so a world opened up to me that I previously had no idea existed. A world full of amazing souls, magic and truly kind people…

These days my existence is much more stable calm and quiet. The good kind of boring I guess. I’m like a tall black weird Bilbo Baggins. Quiet (somewhat awkward) and reserved. Yet I also have a subtle disdain for the mundane, so I’m down for an adventure when the situation presents itself.

I’m more interested in hosting someone who is genuinely open minded and curious about me and my lifestyle. Someone who can be in the moment with me. Someone I can either spend the day with exploring the city or stay inside and watch movies all day with etc… Got any ideas ?

House rules !? Lame… My house rule is that you make yourself completely at home and be yourself. My place is a safe peaceful judgment free adult space. No kids/No pets. Maybe all those years spent in the street caused something like an ego death for me, I don’t know because trivial things just don’t bother me. I’m just happy and thankful to have a home to share and some basic necessities…

Stays that aren’t confirmed, won’t be considered final and may be unexpectedly cancelled (for a variety of reasons). If I accept please confirm promptly so I can plan accordingly.

I’m also VERY open to hosting for extended stays lasting up to 25 days. If you have a need for an extended stay we can negotiate that. I can offer you your own private room with a double bed, remote work station, smart tv and blazing fast fiber optic internet. Usage of Washer & Dryer and other modern appliances. I promise you what I can offer you will be significantly better value wise, than what you would find in a hotel or hostel in my area. We’d be helping each other because NYC is expensive…
