ABOUT ME

I'm from Singapore, a small little red dot in Southeast Asia! Currently a college student.

Right now I'm on a study abroad program at Boston University. Trying to visit as many places as I can in the short time time that I'll be here.

I like the outdoors and gym workouts. It'll be great to get exposed to new cultures and art on my travels, and that's been the way I always tried to travel, to live as the locals do instead of gimmick-y attractions.

PHILOSOPHY

My dad told me since young, that the only way to know more about yourself is know more of others. Trying to keep that motto alive by meeting more people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently surfing on couches as well as joining up couchsurfing events whenever possible, since I'm travelling.

Back home I'll be keen to bring people around Singapore, especially introducing good hawker food (which Singapore definitely ranks amongst the top in the world). Personally, me and my girlfriend embark on frequent outings to sample said local delights, and you'll be surprised at how affordable and delicious the food tastes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with couchsurfers during my time in Chicago and had a great time there!

Joining CS gatherings in Boston, and they're really great.

Surfed in Philadelphia.
On average, CS are just the friendliest people I've ever met, seriously!

兴趣

Music! Especially bands from the 70s to the 90s, including The Eagles, Beatles, Oasis, Queen etc.

Can't turn down a good workout anytime at the gym, and I get all restless without doing something active in my life.

I'm good in drawing and sketching, but it's been a struggle to keep it up when papers and mid-term tests are piling up.

Lastly, good food! Who can resist the allures of a wonderful meal? :)

Rock music from the 70s to 90s.

If Men's Health counts, then that's something I really enjoy. Nothing better than to check it out for gym training tips and tricks to get that unattainable six packs etc.!

I absolutely love movies with elaborate plots, things like Memento, the Prestige etc. These movies takes your mind for a wild ride.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did parachuting as part of my military training in the past. That was an amazing experience, although everything else sucked, what with getting grilled by instructors and commanders.

教，学，和分享

Trying to find people who can introduce me to different cities/cultures. Nothing better than having a local share his experiences inside a place you're visiting. At the same time, I wish to share more about my own culture and ideas as well in the process!
