COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just getting started but I live in a CS flat.
Thanks to my flatmates who already hosted several surfers, my experience has been positive so far, so I would like to host and surf in the future.

Interests

Since I am an archaeology student it is easy to conclude my biggest passions are history, archaeology and middle age in general. Because of that I became a semiprofessional blacksmith. Also leading an independent student life turned me into a passionate cook (a true meat eater). My love for travelling and beer complete each other perfectly since I want to try every beer in the world :D

Cause I believe in importance of personal development in any way one of my favorite habits are reading books and recreational cycling.
I am also involved with different humanitarian projects cause I believe in helping others with whatever you can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books written by J.R.R. Tolkien, L.M. Bujold, Herman Hesse, Ivan Mažuranić (croatian author), G.R.R.Martin and others.

Movies: LOTR and Hobbit series, Walk the Line, 13th Warrior, other historical movies and Jack Nicholson movies (he is a genius).

Music: almost everything in rock and metal genres but my favourite ones are Johnny Cash, Rammstein, Opća Opasnost (croatian rock band)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lost my teeth in a medieval fight.

I made a 13kg Smaug cake for the premier of the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

Using experimental archaeology I made 2 complete roman soldier sets and a roman triumph chariot (quadriga).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about cooking and for ex. how to tell female and male skeletons apart.
Share interesting stories and facts from history and archaeology and show you sword fighting techniques from the Middle Age.

I'd like to learn more about the things I am already interested in.
I'd like to learn about cuisines from around the world (which means,in exchange for the roof above your head, you share a recipe :D).

But if you can share your knowledge about anything besides that I'm willing to learn too.
