ABOUT ME

I hail from the sunny island of Singapore which is so much more than not being able to eat chewing gum. The influx of both Western and Asian influences in the country makes it one of the greatest melting pots in the world for me, and what inevitably comes out of a good pot is great food! We might be diplomatic when it comes to politics, but we could wage wars over which is the best stall for chicken rice.

On a personal level, some of the best moments in my life is sitting in a cafe in paris, a park in geneva, a beach in indonesia or a dim sum eating house in hong kong, and just appreciating the fact that I am there. Being in such different cultures in person is truly a joy unlike any other. You catch a glimpse into the fullness of life and all of its riches, and you can't help but take something from the experience. I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced all that I have so far while travelling and wish it will continue on indefinitely.

I have not had any Couchsurfing experience as of yet unfortunately. So hopefully I would get to experience this wonderful travelling culture when I embark on my next few trips.

Interests

I have many varied interests that I could probably list down and you would probably not bother to read. So I will just tell you what would be my idea of the perfect day,

Laying somewhere quiet, warm and cosy with a good book and good coffee in hand, before going out to meet friends over beers and talking about nothing at all for hours on end. Yup, that's the life.
