About Me

Yooo what is up!

I'm currently waiting for my university to start in Aug 2018 so I'm pretty much free?? till then.

Brought up as an only child - i swear I am not THAT pampered though hahahaha.

Kinda love travelling and exploring places and stuff. Really want to immerse myself into the culture of different locales.
Life is too short too have any regrets!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly, i hate tours and tour guides. It all feels so artifical...
So I really hope to meet and chill with locals through couchsurfing.
Furthermore, I hope to be able to really understand local culture and do stuff that most tourists would'nt do.
I really aspire to be a citizen of the world!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently went through an existential crisis regarding my consumption of content.
Feels that life is too goddamn fucking short to just sit and spend my time watching netflix.

I do read quite a big, all sorts of fiction and non fiction.
My childhood was moulded by percy jackson, artermis fowl, alex rider and the halo series for sure.
Nowadays, I try to get more into self help books and logical stuff.
The art of thinking clearly, freakanomics, some works by malcolm gladwell.

Music - imagine dragons and ed are pretty high on my list.
One particular song that I kind like is "tell me if you wanna go home" by Keira Knightley.

Movies - watched quite abit in the past. From pulp fiction to kill bill to 12 angry men to more up to date shows such as capt america etc.

My other interests include cycling. love cycling at night on the road with my music on maximum volume and just drinking in the silence.
I also do bouldering on the side. Have never done natural walls but am looking forward to do so!!!

I gymmed quite a bit in the past. But nowadays, am focusing on running.

I use quora frequently and volunteer quite abit as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the crazier things I've done is heading off the Nepal on a volunteer expedition together with a bunch of strangers.

It was an open team so I was the youngest there. The media age being about 28 while I was 20.

The night before, I was wracked with nerves and really afraid that it would be boring and awkward.

Oh, how wrong I was.

The whole experience was fucking fun and I really enjoyed myself working with adults and stepping out of comfort zone. It really opened my eyes that "life is too short to give a fuck" and the world is ripe for all of us. We just need to take a deep breath and step out of the comfort zone.

Another pretty amazing thing that I've went through is two years of military service. It was really draining for me as its a compulsory conscription and I really hated it beforehand.
However, I can say I've learnt and matured alot through this experience in the military.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Brunei Darussalam, China, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand
