I have grown from a timid backpacker to a slow paced ‘drag-packer.’ I have never failed to find time to visit off-the-beaten-track destinations a few times every year. Drag-packing has not only challenged my perceptions of life, but has also provided plentiful opportunities for me to learn new things from real, unfamiliar situations. I was invited to give public speeches occasionally on communication, people-related topics and travel experiences. I am also a Buddhist monastery and museum tour guide cum trainer for Kong Meng San Monastery, the largest in Singapore. I strive to explore and learn new insights through travelling and museums visit; in addition, I would like to share my views and experiences with you here in Couchsurfing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Trying to meet locals when I travel. I used to 'conquer' destinations and make a checklist of places and things I had seen and heard but as I grew, sadly older, I shifted my interest in humanity-and-environment-oriented travel experiences, getting to know the locals and understand how they live. Even though I cannot host travellers in my nest but I can be an enthusiastic bird, fluttering to you and showing you many lovely places in Singapore.

兴趣

What else?! Has to be travel, travel and more travels! I had done this and that, so I am interested in knowing people and learning from them over cuppa tea or coffees, and spread of good food. Also, I am into researching on Buddhism, its art and architecture representations that enrich my life so much these few years.
