ABOUT ME

I'm a 20-something dude who's been thirsting for adventure for a while and can't seem to get enough. In the last five years I've been on a backpacking trip through a (small region of) Europe, alot of Asia and toured with various punk bands through the better part of North America.

Very easy going, love to have fun and looking forward to meeting new people. I love new stories and view points - even if I can't agree, just to hear life through another perspective is such an enriching experience (especially in an age where communication is becoming less and less personalized). There's no one right way to live, except to not live at all!

I can currently host up to 2 travelers and am down for hangs and can show people around Toronto or even just give a suggestion list of places to check out depending on what yr into.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in China and Vietnam and had amazing times with both. Looking to return the favour and provide a place for people to experience Toronto.

Music - at the drive in, fugazi, beirut, antioch arrow, angel hair, title fight, steely dan, stevie wonder, animal faces, bon iver, refused, bruce springsteen, the mars volta, !!!, torche, boris, baroness, krallice, the constantines, jeru the damajuh, gangstarr, wu tang clan, green jelly, gza, orchid, kylesa, charles bradley...i could seriously do this all day.

Movies - Ghostbusters, Life Aquatic, 13 Tzameti, Old Boy, Holy Mountain, Spinal Tap, Monty Python (pretty much anything by them), Beerfest, Supertroopers, The Shining, Beetlejuice, Best In Show, Forest Gump, Up!, Platoon, Rocky, Half Baked, Batman, Wet Hot American Summer, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Wayne's World, Beavis and Butthead to America...again, all day.

Books - Wind-Up Bird Chronicles, All the pretty horses, the crossing, cities of the plain, rebel sell, hey nostradamus, j-pod, the outsiders, snakes on a plane (yeah it's real), sex drugs and cocca puffs...lots more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Any time I'm just living out of a backpack with new ground to cover is an amazing experience in itself. Always greatful for every bit of travel I've done and am going to do.
