ABOUT ME

I love traveling, learning languages, laughing, and being silly.

I grew up in a small town in upstate New York and have spent the past four years of my life in the fabulous college town of Boston, finishing a dual degree in Education and Spanish, with a minor in Linguistics.

I am now teaching EFL in a small town in northern Spain until I head back to the states to pursue my Masters.

PHILOSOPHY

Teaching is learning. Learning becomes teaching.

I love teaching because I love learning from my students, and I especially love when an entire classroom (including the teacher!) is laughing and learning at the same time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the CS project! I have never couchsurfed before, but I am looking forward to doing so! I am also excited about showing people around where I am currently living in Spain, and then in NYC when I move back to the states!

Interessi

Trying new food, enjoying nature, drinking good tea and coffee, finding the perfect gift for someone, and of course, taking photos, traveling!

Musica, film e libri

I have a passion for John Mayer, but love all types of music - especially music that I can dance to!

I really enjoy the Harry Potter series, as well as the book Ella Minnow Pea. I will read any book that is suggested to me, and love trying out new genres.

My favorite movie is definitely Love Actually. I hate scary movies, and am a sucker for romantic comedies. But, I also love movies such as Donnie Darko, Slumdog Millionaire, and Some Like it Hot.
