ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing, active and will try anything once, ok maybe twice. I can be a bit of a smart ass, but can take it as well as I dish it. I love sushi, and real Mexican food....ok all sorts of food. I grew up in/around the music industry so surprise surprise I LOVE music! I have many hobbies, and have a passion for travel.

In April 2006 I moved to Barcelona and I loved it there. It was meant to be temporary, but now I think someday I will call it home. That was the start of a more nomadic life. Since, I've lived in Sao Paulo, Denver Colorado, Melbourne Australia and now in Rio de Janeiro!

I grew up in Southern California, but as a young kid I spent summers in Ecuador. Even though I have traveled all over the world, Ecuador is still my favorite travel destination. Some may think it is nostalgia, but the truth is that the people are some of the most kind and generous in the world. The country, although small, is full of diverse flora and fauna. And Ecuador is home to the Galapagos Islands, my absolute favorite destination in the world. So maybe there is a little nostalgia there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I have a home, I talk to my friends about it even when they don't have an open mind, I surf even when I don't have a need because it should never be about a free place but a desire to have new experiences, meet new people and swap travel stories. You never know who will inspire you to change or to greatness!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted in LA, Barcelona, Denver and Rio de Janeiro, I have been hosted all over Europe, South America and the US. I've unofficially surfed in Africa and Asia (people cool enough to give me shelter)
I have never had a bad experience, and every one of them has given me the optimism to believe in the kindness and selflessness of strangers.
