Hi! My name is Daria (or Dasha for short). I'm 26 and I live in Berlin. Travelling has always been one of my priorities in life, and I've managed to travel quite a lot, in many ways thanks to the hospitality of people all around Couchsurfing. So I'm hoping to meet some new exciting people.

I'm a political and cultural journalist. I'm passionate about all things music and art. Throughout my life, I'd worked as a film critic, translator, and, surprisingly, a tour guide on Svalbard in the Arctic. I love spending time in nature, foraging and birdwatching, among other things. I have my own little garden I try to take care of.

I meditate and practice yoga a lot, currently beginning facilitating my own sound meditations with gongs, singing bowls and other beautiful instruments.

I'm a great storyteller and I'm always excited about hearing other people's stories, but I also know when to be silent.
