About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Solving Life Mystery requires Mind,
Living Life Mystery requires Life itself.

I am a wonderer, living a simple life, a storyteller, surprises, child like wonder, cheerful, a bridge between oriental and west culture, enjoy being unreasonable and living intensely every second of life. If you spend time with me, I will trigger questions to spark the deepest part within you to emerge.

The biggest revolution in the world can happen, if each one of us start self-observing themselves.

I help people to Simplify their life, so that celebrations happen on its own. You can read more about me at https://deepakashwani.com/.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am aware that guests are hosts and hosts are guests. All is in me and out there. This deep realisation of connection keeps me going on Couchsurfing.

I surf while traveling most of the time. I also welcome guests at my place (if I stay at one place, sometimes). It is wonderful to be surrounded by those who share and care for people and ambience around them - that is true CS spirit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience for CouchSurfing is super diverse and full of memorable stories. I started by hosting people but now I already got hosted many times. CS has added a new flavour to my traveling experience, explore people and cultures. Now, it seems very easy to meet different and amazing people.

Thank you CS Team for this wonderful gift based platform for explorers, travellers and wonderers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many amazing things and few of them are mentioned here:

- Walked 800 kms next to a river for 25 days eating only fruits and nuts

- Laying on the rock for 2.5 hrs behind the majestic waterfall, in turbulence and stormy ambience, dissolving into a waterfall.

- When a sea turtle passes 1 m away in the Pacific Ocean in Nicaragua to lay 120 eggs in the night, I felt like a part of sea life. Watching super flashy greenish waves in the same night has made that night memorable.

- Followed by a bull and still alive.....

- Watching whole night the most active, fastest flowing, largest larva lake at Nyragongo Volcano in DR Congo. Larva coming out of ground 200 m high just 6 kms away and forming land in front of me was breath-taking moment.

- 20,000 kms of Motor-bike across India during COVID years (2020-22)

- Scenic view of Pangong lake with barren mountains and a ride on world's highest motor-able road (18380 fts/5606 m) in a chilling weather(-8 degree C) was really a challenging job.

- My first bungee-jumping experience. I was able to do safely but I was unconscious for 10 seconds in the air.

- I took two of my friends out of jail on bail when they were trapped by railway police while traveling without ticket on our first cultural trip in the bachelor degree university. One of them was traveling for the first time by train.

- Another one, I slept in the disco because I was unable to find the way out.

and many more....let's meet and share each other experience...
