Hi! I’m a graduate student from Korea studying Data Science. Recently, I’ve been lucky to travel abroad to present my research at different conferences, which has been such a great experience. I can be a bit shy at first, but I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories over good food or coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visited Vancouver and Seattle for the first time, I was amazed by how open and diverse people were.
Having lived my whole life in Korea, I realized that my view of the world had been quite narrow.
Now I want to meet people from different backgrounds, share experiences, and see the world through new perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had three completely different career paths in my life. I first studied Japanese Language, then added Physical Education as a double major. After that, I worked for about four years as a yoga and fitness trainer.
Now I’m exploring the world of AI as a researcher, and I’m really excited about where life keeps taking me.
