About Me

Hello ~! : )
My name is Dasol Kang , and you can call me Dasol !
I'm 23 years old( Born in 1993) .
I was bon in Republic of Korea and lived Korea all the time.
And I am a student of KyungHee university which is composed not only of basic colleges but also of various art colleges and medical colleges. Korean medicine(or oriental medicine) college is a interesting feature of KyungHee university. And Our school has also produced President and First Lady this time. They are Campus-Couple.
I am majoring in economics but I'm not good at it. Because I like to play. I'm doing Economics Association and Photography Club. I'm a little obsessed with storage, so I like to keep a record of the photos.
I like to go around so much as to say that people say "she must have itchy feet."
The subway and public transportation in Seoul where I live is really easy, so I often go out even if it is not a vacation. So I like to find lots of ambiance and unusual spaces, so ask your friends to come with you or ask a lot of good places. I like to travel not only in the city but also between cities, and I also like to jump over the country.

So I took a leave of absence this semester and planned a long trip to Europe and I made money for it. I was not going to be able to go this long without it.

So I want to experience many cultures and many things, especially friends!

Oh And I really love cats .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I wrote above, I like to go around. I really love traveling. So I went around a lot of countries.
However, it is family trip and package trip is the majority, and it is not enough to enjoy the country properly. They also have a job , So I can not go on a long trip with my family.
So I studied abroad to travel to Europe for a long time and earned some money by doing part-time-job.

I want to feel the country with almost ten days in one country. And I found out that it was a couch surfing.
Airbnb 's motto is that the trip is live there , but I think it fits more in the couch surfing.
CouchSurfing is not only able to live in the host's house, but also interacts with each other through cultural interaction, We can have an extraordinary experience together (chatting, sharing food with each other, teaching language if it's possible, sharing culture and memories)

This is why I want to Couchsurfing !

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music genre is British pop !!!! I was the big fan of Oasis and I listen to the whole albums by putting in MP3. However, I have been dismissed in Korea since 2009 and after that, I have been dismissed.
And I loved the Coldplay as much as the oasis, but the Oasis was disbanded and now my favorite band is Coldplay. I really love them so much, but Coldplay has not even done a show in Korea, so I decided to go to England and watch Coldplay performances on my bucket list. By the way, last year when I heard that they will come to Korea in 2017, I did not go to school on the reservation day and did ticketing, and through the mad competition, I went on the firtst day of Coldplay conert (standing!) The concert was so enormous that everyday life seemed impractical.

In addition to these two groups, I also like Green Day, Nirvana, Radio Headbrae Travis, etc. I also like the Daftpunk, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Benny Benassi , etc.
Reecently, Honne came to Korea, and now there are a lot of Honne's songs on our streets.

Korea is famous for our K-pop, and I like K-pop idols too. Recently, I fell in with the BTS, and nowadays I watch ‘Produce 101’ which is idol trainees survival program. Besides K-pop, I also like ballads and indie music bands.
And Ghibli Animation! Hisaishi Joe! I like acoustic cafes, I love old pop songs, I love classical music, I once played violin in an amateur orchestra.
I am not choosy about music !
If I can not get my earphones out when I leave home, I think the world is falling apart.

Movie

I do not watch movies often when I go to the theater, but if I want to see it, I go to see and download it. I've seen almost world-famous movies, though.
Harry Potter's first series, I was in elementary school, and I saw it all in theaters. I really like Harry Potter. It was on my bucket list to go to England and go to Harry Potter studios. I also read Twilight series and watch in movies.
The most memorable movie in recent years is Blue Is The Warmest Color, Pride and Prejudice, Midnight in Paris.
And I love Taiwan youth movies. It is also nice to have a quiet food movie unique to Japan (Ex. Kamome Dinner). I saw a lot of Disney animations when I was a kid.
Among Korean movies, The Beauty Inside and The Handmaiden are the most leftover in my head right now.
I never really liked horror movies.

Book

I have seen a lot of comic books in Japan. I can not remember the title these days.
I have a sister and when I was younger, she did not play with me and read only books. That’s the reason why I start reading books.
Korea's education is a little overheated, So I was not able to afford it getting older. (Honestly I did not make the time)
One of the books that I read many times when I was a child is Pearl Buck's The Good Earth and I ended up taking too much and losing it.
Recently, I was interested in feminist books, but I have not read them yet.
I borrowed Alain de Botton’s book to read, but I read it in 1/4 and return it back to library.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not Yet....
Let's make it together !

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that Korean has some grammar and spelling difficulties .
But I didn't have difficulties in Korean . It maybe because of my parents. They are both elementary school teacher. So I have been living in a perfect language since I was a child,
I keep spelling really well!
But I'm not the fuddy-duddy! In Korea, the speed of Internet is so fast that the internet culture has developed very much. I also doing computers every day, so I am carrying all kinds of sweets. I can really tell from basic Korean to slang (if you want, swear word too)

I'm also pretty good at cooking. If you like, I can taste Korean food for you! I also have a little fusion French cuisine combined with my own.
My parents are working together ,so I've been cooking since elementary school student.

And teach me your language and culture and cook! I'm ready to learn!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think it's too vague. Don' t need to limit it

As I said , food and culture are possible and hobby also possible !
If we become more intimate, we will be able to share the personal thing ?

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, France, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom
