ABOUT ME

I love the feeling of knowing that you don't need more than what you're able to carry on your back. And I don't understand how people are able to be bored. There are so many things to do and so many places to see! And travelling is the best way of learning.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is wonderful and the world is beautiful. And it should be for everyone, in all places and for all times. That's why the effort to make a difference is worth it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Together with 2 friends I stayed with an elderly, half-english half-russian couple in France, it was great! I also had a good time couchsurfing in Irkutsk, Russia when I was on my transsiberian railway trip in 2012.

Interessi

One of the very most important things in my life are Scouts. I've been a Scout ever since I was 8. I was a Scout in Canada, the DR Congo and South Africa, too. Not to care about the rules, but to just do something and end up seeing that together anything is possible is such a great concept, that I really like to pass on.
I love sports, too. Gymnastics, acrobatics, rock'n'roll dancing, things like that. Burmese kickboxing recently. Or, outside of course, in the nature. Well, that comes with scouting I guess...

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I arrived in the Dem. Rep. of Congo all alone and - as agreed via email - a person (a congolese scout) who I had never seen in person before really came to pick me up, took me to his home and let me live at his place for three month perfectly safe, I experienced that there really are people in this world who you can trust. This one became a very close friend. Awesome!
