Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going on my first trip abroad since Covid in October. I will be visiting Turkey, Iraq, Egypt and Lebanon. I would really love to meet a few new friends on my travels, particularly in Beirut, as I will be spending a few days there and don't have any particular plans yet. I mostly have accommodation booked for the places I'm visiting so I'm mainly just interested in meeting a few new people for a drink and maybe even seeing some of their city with them.
