About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Kill Berlin!

ABOUT ME

I'm 22 years old, currently tying up the loose ends of a law degree at UKZN while working part time as a bar manager to make ends meet. I'm an avid traveller and make an effort to spend at least a month abroad...partly to see as much of the world as I can and partly to take a rest from my hometown for a bit. I'd like to think I'm what most people would describe as an outgoing and active kind of guy, and so I like to keep busy and meet new people while travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel this is a rather cliche question and not something I ever really consciously think about...the best way to go about things seems to be to just take life as it comes, but obviously with some kind of direction as to where life is going to take me, i.e. a carreer, family, and all those distant things that need to be seriously considered at some point.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not quite sure what this means...drop me a message if you need clarification on the issue.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple good friends of mine in Durban are regular hosts of couch surfers, and I've spent a good deal of my time with them entertaining foreigners that are crashing at their place, and they've always been quality people, and have always enjoyed their stay. So going by that experience I reckon it seems like a good way to travel.

Interests

Snow boarding, hockey, ice hockey, rock climbing, canoeing, graffiti, travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't watch a whole load of movies, but I do read a lot...a lot of thrillers by writers such as Michael Connelly, Lee Child, John Connelly, Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy.

Musicwise I'm fairly picky, and slightly close-minded if I'm honest. The music I mostly listen to is underground hip hop, drum and bass, filthy dub step and jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Where to begin? Saw my first professional ice hockey game in Prague, Drove through a herd of elephants at dusk in Zimbabwe and snorkled with dolphins on the reefs of the Red Sea...

Teach, Learn, Share

I've travelled a fair deal in my time and as a result have learned a fair few tricks of the trade...having a world class travel agent as a mother has also taught me a massive amount, and I'm always happy to share what I know. If anyone has any questions on travel in general, or just on the places I've been to, don't hesitate to drop me a message asking.
