I'm a 30 year old guy who grew up in small town Ohio, USA. The community where I am from is nice, but I am opting to begin another series of international travels to add some flavor to my life.

I attended the University of Akron where I studied Exercise Science and Physiology. Spent some serious years learning all about the human body, different forms off exercise, diet and nutritional microbiology, kinesiology, and sport coaching. After graduation I spent a few years working as a Strength Coach and Personal Trainer, both in Ohio and Austin, Texas.

From 2011-2014 I enlisted into active duty military. Throughout my time I managed to travel extensively throughout Southeast and Eastern Asia. With each new traveling experience I found myself falling in love with EVERYTHING associated with visiting a new place. I did find that the food, culture, people, and traditions are difficult to find staying in a hotel or tourists destination.

I am couch surfing for a myriad of reasons, the most pivotal being the chance to meet and interact with the locals. I just want to laugh, eat, drink, learn, and celebrate life with charming people all over the world.

Most styles of music appeal to me... Except 'Death Metal'

Most styles of movies also draw me in, however, my particular tastes usual drift to science fiction, action, and comedy.

Books are the smart mans 'movie', or so they say. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE science fiction and fantasy.

I am more into learning than teaching. Acquiring wisdom, knowledge, experience sound ideal to me. I do, when the time is right, love to impart my wisdom to others though... especially when it comes to health and fitness.
