I am a recent college graduate with some time to travel and meet new people. I recently returned to California after working in Alaska for a year. I am interested in conservation biology and environmental science. I am very independent but enjoy socializing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Alaska- pure nature. Multiple trips and sites in Alaska have left me awestruck. The calving glaciers of Tracy Arm Fjord, the remote and untouched Icy Bay, the view from multiple mountaintops around Juneau, and all the wildlife.
2. Living with a host family in rural Nicaragua for six weeks changed the way I live. I have been humbled.

I would like to learn how to sail in conditions other than "just a nice day to go out" so I can be confident in sailing to distant locations.
