Interessen

I am a wildland firefighter for the State of Alaska. That isn't anything special, but it sure is fun. My real passion is to try and better society through engagement in civil society activities including: social activism, social/political policy entrepreneurship, and volunteering my time and effort to NGO's, although I don't do the last one nearly as much as I'd like.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Kinda boring I guess, but in general I have been awestruck by the natural beauty in the places I've visited and live. The other moments that inevitably leave indelible marks on me are the moments of everyday commonplace human generosity I have witnessed, because it is not the extraordinary event that leaves me in awe, it is the ubiquitous human empathy and kindness that surrounds us that truly amazes me.
