About Me

N.B. PLEASE CAN GROUPS OF PEOPLE STOP WRITING. MY PROFILE SAYS THAT I ACCEPT 1 PERSON - NOT 2/3/4/5, or in one instance, 6!!

CURRENT MISSION

Languages, Locura, Livelihood, Location and Love!

ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning other languages, writing and meeting new people who inspire me. I feel most alive when I dance salsa and bachata - when I dance it, I feel that's all I need in my life, and then I realize that it's not. People say that I'm a romantic, others say I'm too enigmatic, I feel I'm an open book but just quite a long one, perhaps a Russian one. I'm older than when I started Couchsurfing and starting to want to settle down and stop travelling, but somehow work, love and life hasn't allowed it. I'll probably keep travelling forever, or for as long as it affords something good to me and to those I encounter.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is changing everyday. Every person I meet helps me change...and makes me more legendary.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelled a lot, and I love languages and other cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted. lots of meet-ups...Didn't really think to do it when I was travelling before and so I'm yet to be hosted. That'll change on my next world voyage to distant lands.

I've been going to the CS meetings in Geneva, Vienna, London, Moscow, Petersburg and Lyon for the past few years and it's a fairly central part of my social life.

Interests

Food, football, animals, writing, reading, talking, possums, pub quizzes, opossums, CATS, dogs, occasionally humans, humanism, hummus (NOT humus), pushing social boundaries, thinking outside the box, living in boxes, opening boxes, planning to pack boxes, bachata, salsa, singing hymns, learning languages, filling in forms, holding hands. Dancing.

Music, Movies & Books

so many! Interested across the board. Favourite film: Forrest Gump, favourite book: Belle de Seigneur, favourite song: Monchy & Alexandra - HASTA EL FINAL.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Nearly knocked over the Secretary General of the UN

Teach, Learn, Share

I can click my nose, and will be willing to pass this knowledge on at a painful price.
