About Me

CURRENT MISSION

5 week tour of Europe and Morocco!

ABOUT ME

...this is a tough one. I want to meet a lot of people, I want to operate on the idea that if everyone is openly friendly operations like CS can function and contribute to the unity and wonderful experience shared by travelers.

PHILOSOPHY

Its our own decision whether to view the world as a fruitful, giving, enjoyable place or a hostile, divided one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch in Montreal - I am only in Brooklyn during the summer BUT I love giving tours of the borough in my car and showing people that Brooklyn is a great, fun and vibrant part of America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so far not surfed yet - I hope to soon on my upcomming trip!

Interests

I play the guitar - mostly blues music. Being a student of design I draw a lot and spend my time pulling my hair out over my next project.

Music, Movies, and Books

I got into this band The Knife from Sweden and I love them. For me my taste is an ebb and flow between serious and fun music. The best bands for me are the Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers Band, Government Mule and the Beatles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went rafting along the Neretva River in Hercegovina - that was awesome. It was the bluest, clearest water I had ever seen, and the guides cooked two Bosnian BBQs for the whole group.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I travel I try to act as an embassador of my country and I hope that people can understand that Americans are not represented by their government. The best experience I have had has been the constant realization that people can have the same ideas coming from entirely different experiences and have the same sense of humor regardless of language or culture.
