Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only surfed as I don't have a suitable place to put people up. I always try and get people to try Couchsurfing as I've had such great experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went travelling with my best friend in March-July 2009 and we Couchsurfed through Scandinavia and also in Eastern and Central Europe.

Interests

I love music, especially jazz. I play the saxophone and a little bit of piano and I love playing jazz. I'm also into sports, mainly hockey but also a bit of rugby and hurling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sahara, really good film. Others include the Hannibal films, Airplane, Blues Brothers and American Beauty. I also quite like the occasional chick flick/rom com. Book wise I'm into crime/spy thrillers. Anything by Jack Higgins or John Le Carre. Music, as mentioned earlier I listen to a lot of jazz but I like just about anything. I'm studying classical music at uni so I've started listening to more of that. Classic 90s cheese is still a major part of my life.

Climbed Gunung Rinjani and camped on the crater...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people lots of bad jokes. And reasonable jokes. Also I love talking about music and could teach the saxophone or tin whistle. I'd like to learn another language and also improve my French, but really I'd just like to know more about everything.
