ABOUT ME

Granny with 4 kids & 3 grandkids & a grumpy scotty hubby.Have been dairy farming before selling cows & most of farm to neighbours. Have 20 acres left, for rearing beef & babysitting grandkids. Manage Ruggers netball teams.Supporters of our local rugby team in Edendale, Robert an avid lazyboy chair commentator to most sports!!I love gardening, shopping at markets,swimming & reading.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have had our first 2 couch surfers from France. A delightful experience.
We hope to have more pop in for a bed/ couch
Couch surfing is about sharing food & conversations. Therefore I would appreciate if cs bring couple loaves of bread , vegs, tomatoes, butter, any of the above,depending on how many are to stay. We are not a free hotel, we have bills to pay too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had some great experiences with cs. Some are very generous with food to share.Others expect everything for nothing in return,we enjoy the company, but not the feeling of being used as free accommodation & free meals.

Interests

We have had great experiences with many c s, most of them have meet our family as they come & go visiting, or dropping off their kids, or had a meal either at our home or at a restaurant.

I still like to get out in m garden when I get A free moment.

We have meet some very talented couples that want to immigrate back To NZ & start there own business' which we think is pretty awesome. We have had many amazing cs stay & appreciate their generousity & laughs.
