Having spent the last 2 and a so years working in a restaurant in Bristol, UK, my girlfriend Josie and I have decided to pack in all in and travel Central America.

Having been aware of the couchsurfing community for quite sometime now, this seems like the perfect time to embrace all it has to offer and to meet new people. I love the idea of sharing stories and knowledge, and would love to have the opportunity to get a feel for a place through the eyes of the people who live there. I am forthcoming and adventurous, making it easier for me to get stuck in to local life. In return, I feel I have a rich and varied life in Bristol and would take great pleasure in showing off the city I love.

I want to know as much as I can, about as much as possible. Whilst my capacity to do so might limit this somewhat, I take great interest in whatever I can. I feel so privileged to have the ability to learn and accessibility to such a wide range learning materials, and am aware that there are plenty people in this world who don't. Therefore I like to take advantage of this, whilst not taking for granted.
More specifically, I love culture. I find take great pleasure in learning about cultures from all over the world, through music, literature, art and other creative mediums.
