I'm a pretty laid-back person who enjoys seeing new things and meeting new people. I'm open minded and love learning. One of the attractions of couch surfing to me is meeting diverse people and sharing experiences, my experiences of new places and their experience of my place! I don't want to be a tourist, i prefer trying to get under the skin of places i travel to

I just yesterday finished reading Kari by Amruta Patil, other authors I like are Douglas Coupland, Milan Kundera, Michelle Houellebecq, Joe Sacco, Sarnath Banerjee, John Kennedy Toole, others i cant think of right now!
Music - right now listening to Low, No Age, Blitzen Trapper, Sufjan Stevens, Clinic, Menomena, Alan Stivell
Movies - last I watched was Rules of Attraction the other night, in general i like the films of Oliver Hirschbiegel, Richard Linklater (not all obviously), Woody Allen, Kevin Smith, Wes Anderson, Terry Gilliam

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went on a Hindu pilgrimage to Rameshwaran in southern India, that was pretty amazing! (As a non-Hindu westerner I was a bit of a curiosity but anyway...)
