I'm a graduate student studying counseling and psychotherapy, of French origin on my mother's side, and my sister and much of my family still live in France. I am a singer and enjoy performing by myself or with my choir, and enjoy hiking and the outdoors. I also love history and learning more about the past.

I am visiting my sister in Paris and will be travelling around France, especially to the south-west and the historic Huguenot areas where my ancestors came from.

i love reading history and nonfiction, and am currently reading A Good Place to Hide, a book about the Resistance in the village of Le Chambon Sur Lignon during the second World War (my grandmother lived in Le Chambon during this time and worked with the resistance, sheltering refugees and carrying messages).

Most of my favorite movies are musicals. I love The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Hairspray, and Moana.

I enjoy singing jazz and Broadway showtunes, and listening to James Brown, Queen, Lizzo, and many others.
