Hey, I'm David. I am a sculptor based right outside Los Angeles. I love to spend as much time as possible in my studio. But I always welcome the distraction of people while I work, for what good is it to make art if others aren't around to experience it. Even better when I can collaborate with people either as fellow artists or to understand their perspectives on the world.
I'm Catholic and love living my faith with actions, more so than with words, being kind and loving to every person I meet.

Interests

I want to meet people and understand their perspectives. I find it more fascinating to learn why others think or live the way that they do rather than just how they do. My favorite part about creating art is seeing how people react or experience it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to relax to some classical music, or rock out in the studio to some alternate rock or folk rock. I'll listen to most music and it varies to what is appropriate to the circumstance. Music willdirectly affect my art so I'll choose the music to reflect what I'm creating.

Movies are great, I always enjoy unwinding to a film or show. Some of my longtime favorites are Braveheart, Gladiator, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked in an art foundry for a few years. One thing I find very beautiful and mesmerizing is watching the molten bronze get cast. And I count myself very blessed to have been able to do that so many times.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my mind and experiences with them. Hopefully so that they can do likewise and together we can grow into better versions of ourselves.
