Overview
About Me
I'm a design student currently doing a semester abroad in Paris. I'm looking forward to seeing Europe for the first time! I've lived in a few places in the U.S. including San Francisco, Massachusetts, Upstate New York, and now Cleveland, OH. Not long ago I thought the difference between "pop" and "soda" counted as a major culture change ("pop" = the Midwest, while "soda" = most of the rest of the country).
I'm always down for riding bikes or swapping music/books/films.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Foxygen, The National, Courtney Barnett, Frightened Rabbit, Tame Impala. I love to share music and pick up new favorites from people. I recently read "The Dog" by Joseph O'Neill and "The Death and Life of Great American Cities" by Jane Jacobs. Star Trek, Game of Thrones, Bojack Horseman, Hitchcock movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did fencing for a year. Épée of course!
Teach, Learn, Share
This is my first time outside the U.S. - I never could have imagined how much fun it'd be to meet people from other countries and cultures! I love riding bikes and drawing stuff. I love cities and city life of all shapes and sizes, though I can appreciate a good run in the woods.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share my interests in music, books, and films with people. I'd be interested in going out for a drink and talking about the area, sports, and all that good stuff. Always willing to practice French with people.
