My goal is to know myself better every day. I enjoy new experiences and novel ideas. I grew up in Central Asia (Tajikistan) and southern California. I was an ocean lifeguard for 7 years and have spent the last years traveling and working and volunteering in various places. The last few years I have been working on regenerative agriculture projects in Mexico.

I like to spend my time outside: body surfing, hiking, camping and backpacking. I'm also a proudly competitive Ultimate Frisbee player. I dabble in piano, guitar and singing. I'm generally reading 3-5 books at any given time.

I like to stray away from the tourist travel types of exploration. If there's a way to spend time with and get to know people who know the character of the place or region and lifestyle of the people, that is way more alluring to me, plus making friends along the way.
