I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and work as an engineer. I love to travel in Brazil and abroad, make friends, learn about the culture and lifestyle of the locals. I enjoy a good conversation, walking around, visiting places and sharing good moments.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm here because I see in couch-surfing a great potential to make friends and make trips to be, not simply cheaper but mainly productive, since we can share with locals our experiences and learn from then things people like to know when visiting a place, like culture, lifestyle and also make the stay of couch-surfers safer.

音乐、电影和书籍

I have spent a lot of time with technical themes regarding my professional life, but what spring to my mind right now are two TV shows, Lost and The Surrogate Mother, they both really drew my attention to them.
Regarding books, there is a book that was very important in my life, whose title is "Don't say Yes when you want to say No". I was a teenager at this point in time and was coming across this problem, then this book showed me, I wasn't alone and more than this, taught me methods how to overcome it.
Talking about music, also is hard to say that is my favorite, since we love many, but now I would pick a song "Stair way to heaven", sing by Led Zeppelin.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Something amazing I've been doing is travelling solo, it seems to be scary at a first glance, since we feel safer and comfortable in groups, because our nature lead us to live in groups. However, one thing isn't better or worse than another under all aspects, In the case in question when we travel solo we can leave whenever we want, go wherever we want, do whatever we want. On the other hand, travelling in a group, the needs and wills need to match. But, in groups, we laugh, we play, we share. That is the point, there are pros and cons on any comparison.

I can talk about engineering, some science, business administration, if somebody else is interested in this issue, but of course we can talk about day by day things, last news, my country etc. I'm interested to learn about local culture, lifestyle and see how is a day like, in the place I'm visiting.
