ABOUT ME

20 year of Canadian Kid with a passion for exploring, adventure and trying new things. Incredibly easygoing but I get serious when I need to. Currently doing a semester abroad at the University of Malta which is my first time really traveling, I'm hoping to see a lot of Europe while I'm here. People often say I am incredibly Canadian, I don't really know what that means but they assure me its a good thing. You be the judge. I love going to new locations to meet new people, I prefer that aspect than just the sights. Lived in Canada all my life but for two of my summers off Uni I moved to Whitehorse, Yukon, in Canada's far North, from my hometown in Ontario.

PHILOSOPHY

I tried taking a philosophy class, didn't work out too well. But theres a whole lot to be learned than just in school. I try to treat others as well as I can and find the good in everyone, thats about as deep as I get.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

A friend showed me the site and I could not think of a better way to travel. Being able to stay with a local or someone whose lived in a city for a while makes a lot of sense to me. I'm new to the Travel game and even newer to couchsurfing so I don't have a lot of experiences but I'm confident that soon through the program I will.

MUSIC

Into all kinds, from Techno to Acoustic guitar to Classic Rock, it all depends on what mood I'm in. I'm constantly changing the music on my phone so any suggestions will be taken.

MOVIES

Love movies, rarely seem to have time to watch them. I'll always go for a good comedy if I have a choice but I'm into all sorts.

BOOKS

Too many to list, a few that have been particularly influential are: Into the Wild, Invisible Man, Animal Farm, Life of Pi, The Butterfly Revolution, World War Z.

The thing I am most proud of is moving to Canada's Yukon by myself, for four months, when I was 18. That trip (and a second one the following summer) made many stories and memories.

TEACH

I love to teach people about my county, city and school. I know a little about a whole lot, and the best way to find out is asking.

LEARN

Most importantly, I want to know about my host. Whether its a long chat over a coffee or beer, online correspondence or just touch an go, I enjoy learning about people and want to get to know the person whose home I am in. I also want to learn about the customs and culture of the city and country I stay in.
