We're a couple from sunny Malta; we quit our jobs last year and we're currently travelling around some beautiful parts of the world on a gap year (or a bit longer than that.)
David's 39, graduated in IT, loves cooking and everything related to food. Interested in more food, sports, football in particular, technology and history. Annabelle's 31, graduated in Education, loves reading and writing, interested in photography, languages and different cultures.
Together, we adore nature and being outdoors, so we love spending our free time observing animals or playing with them, swimming, diving, hiking, and walking. We both love wine and beer, so our date nights usually involve a drink or two and fortunately, we both love travelling and exploring different cultures.
We also love quiet, cosy night-ins, film nights, and homecooked meals.
We are well-organized, quiet, calm and very clean.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We want travelling to bring us closer to the people and communities of the places we visit. We both agree that interactions with the locals and people in general is one of the things that enrich our experience when travelling.
It's been incredibly amazing to connect with people who understand our love for travelling & couchsurfing has become a beautiful way to make new friends.
Having said that, we're also looking for a place to stay and we do not expect taking care of us or feeding us. So we would love some tips if you're too busy or simply not interested in showing us around, but again, that's entirely up to you & your schedule, of course. No expectations here :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's difficult to choose one, but we both agree that volunteering in Kenya has been one of the most enriching and amazing things we've both done. We volunteered separately, in different years, but living with a host family in a remote village, understanding their culture and daily life has been so eye-opening and emotional for both of us.
