I work seasonally in Antarctica sometimes. I travel and work in my off season. I enjoy long distance endurance stuff when I save the money for it.

I love learning new skills and knowledge. I feel like that adds novelty to life and allows me to grow as a person. At the end of my life I would like to have paid forward each of the days I had lived by helping others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel a desire to connect to good worthwhile people. I believe in the idea of karma but I don’t think that’s the only reason we should be nice to each other. I love to understand people.

Interests

I’m looking to get into more long distance endurance activities. Particularly cross country biking or potentially canoeing/kayaking. I want to fill my life with unique experiences and life long friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy big movies that fill you with a sense of energetic wonder like Dune. I want to explore more old cult classics as a lot of classics I never got to watch in childhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2022 I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada which was about 2400 miles (3800 km) after jumping the on fire parts of it.
