Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea behind this community appeals to my inner philanthropist. It also seems like one of the best ways to meet locals and people who have settled in areas I'm already interested in. The reciprocal element of being able to provide the same service from my own home seems more than fair, and travellers of the world need are always willing to support one another. I only wish I'd joined earlier.
