My family comes from El Salvador, Central America but I was born and raised in Bryan, TX by my parents who immigrated to the US to provide a better future for their children. I graduated from Texas A&M University in the fall of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology & Genetics because science is awesome and I love it! But now I am unsure of what to do next in terms of education, career, and love. After a year of working and saving up money I have decided that now is the time to travel and meet new and amazing people to expand my perspective, gain experiences, and learn about myself and the world.

My favorite music genres are pop, movie soundtracks, indie, and alternative. Artists that I like include: Paramore, Florence + The Machine, Sia, Hans Zimmer, Melanie Martinez, OneRepublic, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, The Neighbourhood, PVRIS, Echosmith, The Lumineers, Lorde, Grouplove, and Mumford & Sons.

I love to watch movies even though I haven't seen a ton of movies. But I love Disney films, animated movies, LAIKA Studios movies, sci-fi, dystopian, action, comedy, you know the usual. Some favorite movies are: Inception, Coraline, Cloud Atlas, 12 Years A Slave, Kung Fu Panda, Interstellar, The Little Mermaid, The Harry Potter Series, and any Studio Ghibli movie.

My favorite types of books are dystopian, fantasy, and occasionally some science books. Some favorite books include: Ender's Game, Harry Potter series, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, The Lottery (short-story), Things Fall Apart, The Silent Planet, and Tears of the Cheetah.
