I am a folk musician, playing several different instruments and styles of music, including Irish traditional music and klezmer. I make part of my living from music (solo busking, playing for ceilidhs, occasional teaching) and part from stringed instrument repair, taking on other casual work from time to time. Originally from London, I have travelled extensively around Europe, spending 2 years in Latvia in the late 90s and 5 months in northern Portugal in 2005-6, before settling in Llanidloes, Mid Wales, in 2006.
