About Me

I am David and I am new on this website. I am from Hamburg in Germany, but my parents are from Poland. I was growing up with two languages and since childhood I realised that there are more languages than one. This woke up my curioisity for other languages and cultures and I like to get to know more about the variety in our world.
I am studying architecture and sociology and I am indending to connect them both and be later a city planner, who while planing districts considers also the living society there.
In my leisure time I like to take pictures, draw and meet with my friends. Moreover I like to be active and try out new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am doing couchsurfing to experience the cities from the perspectove of the living people there and see what it really means to live there. Also to get to know new people, who also know about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

-Music-

I like all kind of music, but I have usually periods in which I am listening to one particular genre. Currently I am listening quite a lot to reggaeton, because I live in Spain.

-Movies-

I am this type of person who likes older movies and which have a deeper story like "The Giant" or "It's a Wonderful Life".

-Books-

For me books are really important and I love to read them. I read any type of books, which speak to me. My absolute favorite books are Martin Eden from Jack London and Siddharhta from Herman Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I did the Camino de Santiago and it was an amazing experience.
