Hello!
My name is David and I am from the beautiful Czech Republic.
I am currently studying high school. In my free time, I like to do all kinds of sports and I enjoy trying new ones.
I am also participating in Duke of Edinburgh Award. I like volunteering. I volunteer during the whole year - usually an hour a week. I also participated in event 72 hours of volunteering 3 years in a row.
I am also quite interested in politics and public life. I think that it is important and that is why in my town, I organized 3 debates among high school students and city officials, including the mayor.
Let´s get to the cliché. I also really enjoy travelling. I did not visited that many countries, but I really enjoyed evey country so far. My favorite was probably Israel. I really like meeting new people and learning about their city, culture and an everyday life, not just the tourists sights.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have always been a really spontaneous person. I have never had problem with talking to new people I met.
Many times, during my travels, I started conversations with random people and it ended up being a really great experience and I keep in touch with some of them until those days.
When I found couchsurfing, I was really surprised. I think that people who are members of couchsurfing community are like-minded as I am. It is lot easier to find out someone here, who is interested in sharing their culture, learning more about my culture and enjoy time with total stranger.

I really like almost every kind of music. I like old music, new music, rap, pop and I even listen to classical music - Chopin for instance.
I like older movies a lot. Probably my favorite movie is Green Mile. I also really like The Shawshank Redemption.
From the category of new movies, I like basically anything from Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I like reading a lot. I am usually looking for books with some value in them. That is why lately I was reading mainly books about the holocaust and war war 2.

I would really like to share the Czech Culture. I am sure that I will be able to find out some ingredients to make some traditional Czech dishes.
