About Me
Lived in Scotland most of my life and taught High School Maths for 13 years. Got fed up trying to convince pupils that education was worth engaging with - and wasn't super excited with the direction society was heading - so decided to get out. Moved to Guatemala in August 2017 and everything was better. Now I’m teaching in Bucharest and trying to visit every European and west Asian country before I move again next year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I moved to Guatemala City the nicest, friendliest, most inclusive people I met were couch-surfers. I want to keep in touch with them and meet more people like them everywhere I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Romania for 3 months when I was 17, volunteering in an orphanage and teaching English to street kids. It changed my outlook forever and made me much more grateful for everything I have.
