My Name is David Joubert. I'm a composer, a songwriter and a guitar player.

New Album, PROLOG, coming out January 2015.

I finished my studies in music. I've studied many things in school. I am now able to write my own music, arrange it and record it. Work in progress for several songs... Such as Jazz, fusion, Blues, Rock, Pop, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Stuffs, Movie Score and interactive music. Seems like someone's trying to say he can do everything; nope. Let's just say i'm good in songwriting and I can make it work with the other styles! The most important thing I've learned is: Keep it simple, keep it yours and make it fun. Someday, a great songwriter told me; Life's good David, that's it. That's the only truth.

J'ai terminé mes études en musique. J'ai appris beaucoup de choses à l'école. Je suis maintenant capable d'écrire ma propre musique, l'arranger et l'enregistrer. De nombreuses pièces en cours de création... Comme du jazz, fusion, Blues, Rock, Pop, Guitare acoustique, musique classique, Musique de film et de la musique interactive. Je suis débrouillard et minutieux. Permettez-moi de vous dire que je réussi à travailler dans tous les styles. Évidemment, certains plus facilement que d'autres. Ma devise? Tenez-vous à la simplicité, garder votre identité et amusez-vous en créant. Un jour, un talentueux compositeur m'a dit: <> C'est ça le secret?

Movies : Films Québécois, some independent movies and blockbusters. I'm really into tv shows right now.
