I am 35 year old male that enjoys spending time with friends and family. I have been to 10 countries and love to see new places and experience new things. I am an avid sports fan, the only thing i might enjoy more then traveling is going to different sporting events. I also enjoy camping, hiking, watching movies, playing/ watching sports in my free time. My family has hosted several foreign exchange students throughout my life(Bogota, Columbia Munich Germany, Rome Italy, Moldova, Reykjavik Iceland, and Poland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I once had the opportunity to host Someone for a friend that was on the site that was unable to host. My roommate and I hosted someone from Russia and we had the opportunity to give him a locals perspective on Kansas City taking him to Royals MLB game taking him to a jazz club getting Some of the best BBQ in the world and when he left he said that this was his favorite place he had been to in the USA so far even over places like NYC and offered us a place if we ever end up going to Russia. I believe that the people you meet on your journey are part of what makes the experience of going somewhere and doing new things so fun. I believe that by using this site it will allow to make life long friends and build a better understanding of different cultures from local views.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the most amazing things i have done was hike a Volcano in Bali and Snorkel the Blue Hole in Belize.
