Overview
About Me
I am a recent graduate from CalStateLA in California, USA, and want to eventually become a lawyer. However, before I start my journey toward law school and beyond, I am going on a journey through Europe in July, trying to see all that I can in the short time that I have. Despite my young age, I am much more mature than one would (yes, I know everyone says that) as I graduated from college at only 19. I enjoy learning for the sake of learning, interesting conversations, film, music, and expanding my horizons. In my daily life, I always make an effort to try new things and keep myself out of a rut, making new experiences is the most important.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not a form of travel I have practiced before, and it seems like an exciting way to explore new places and cultures that you can't find in any other way of travel. Meeting like-minded people across the world and sharing experiences with them sounds very appealing to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic taste, especially with music. Some of my favorite bands are Cage the Elephant, David Bowie, Low Roar, and Lorde, but right now my favorite artist is Joywave. For fiction, I really enjoy both horror and science fiction, so my favorites fall into that. Evil Dead and Star Trek: The Next Generation are my favorite movie and tv show respectively, and my favorite novel is Frank Herbert's DUNE.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting my scuba certification. Scuba diving is an experience that is difficult to find on dry land, it is the closest to being in space while still being on planet Earth. And the bottom of the ocean is almost like another planet, with all of the animals and plants appearing and acting alien. The ocean's floor is an amazing place, I only wish the fish were on CouchSurfing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am really into creating food and drinks, I can not only teach techniques and recipes that go into good cocktails and dishes, but the science and reasoning behind what makes something taste good. On the flip side, I also love to learn about new perspectives on topics that I am passionate about, so learning the techniques and recipes that you use to make things taste good would be wonderful. But my learning interest is not limited to topics I'm already interested in, as long as you're passionate about a topic I love to learn about it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share in good vibes and will match your energy, I love discussing all kinds of matters with people, especially if they have a drastically different perspective. I also love cooking and will share in some of my favorite recipes and experimentation, to me cooking is a social activity. I dislike being a nuisance and a freeloader, so I would help with housework where needed and make a small footprint.
