As you see my name is David and I'm currently studying mathematics in Dresden, Germany (currently Erasmus-student in Italy). My greatest interest is music, I love to listen to it, make music with friends or simply talk about my favorite musicians/albums/songs.
I love cooking and though I'm not a strict vegetarian I try to reduce meat as much as possible.
I also like doing sports a lot, especially going for a run in the park or - when I'm on vacation - hiking in the mountains. I learned skiing as soon as I could stand on two feet and every winter I get the blues for not living near the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Afghan Whigs for their songwriting, because it's a very strange mix of assholetivity and vulnerability. It makes you doubt what to feel in a very uncomfortable way. Somehow I love it.
Other stuff I always liked is John Frusciante (because you feel anything he plays/sings), Warpaint, Augustines and many more.

Whenever there's time left I like to read books and mostly - I don't know exactly why, since I read them in german - stuff from polish authors (for example Witkiewicz or Stasiuk). If you love beautifully written, all senses involving stuff, you should definitely try Bruno Schulz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went busking with friends for 4 weeks and visited for example Munich, Paris, Oslo, Ravenna on this trip through Europe. (unfortunately we didn't make enough money on the street to pay for the whole journey ;) )
