I am studying nursing and working part time as a youth worker in the top end of Australia. Moved to Darwin in 2013 and have loved it since. An amazing lady caught my attention some years ago and, after much insistence, she gave in and now we live happily married in a small, but comfortable, unit. Darwin is such a different place from most of the rest of the vast and immense country. It's not in many places that you have to be wary of waterways as you may be eaten by a crocodile if you swim in the wrong waterhole.

I am on couchsurfing because I think it helps to provide hospitality to travelers, and I like that. I enjoy people, their diversity and different ways of life.

I enjoy most good music and literature. I have read lots of non-fiction lately, so I have purposefully picked up a fantasy novel. It is "The Assassin's Apprentice" by Robin Hobb.

I don't know that I have favourites tho, I seem to have seasons. I often ask people what their favourite song is at the moment.
