On my family's hobby farm back home we used to have nigerian dwarf goats, a breed that only gets about two and a half feet tall with kids the size of small puppies. It's humbling to watch generation after generation grow and progress. My family rescued orphaned raccoons and raised them until they were fit to go into the wild. After a year of leaving, one of them returned and could clearly remember us. Despite being full grown, she still tried to climb my pants leg to get on my shoulder.
