About Me

Hi! I recently decided that before I finish my undergrad in 2017, I should take a break from studying and working to travel the world! I've packed summer 2016 with all the locations and events I could think of and have been lucky to already experience some of the wonders that our world has to offer. From the awe inspiring and picturesque Machu Picchu, to the indigenous and fascinating islands of the Uros in Lake Titikaka, to the deep valley that is the Grand Canyon, and scorching hot yet stunning Chichen Itza, I take these experiences to heart and will remember them for as long as I live.

Now, I'm headed off to Europe for 28 days, and as a solo traveler! I haven't traveled this long before nor traveled for more than a few days on my own in another country so I'm interested to see where this trip leads me, but I'm certain that being on my own schedule will help me experience even more of the beauty and rich culture that Europe has to offer. I plan to spend most of my time in the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Germany. I couldn't be more excited!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What comes at the price of my ambition to travel while also being a college student is that, well, I don't have the money to do everything I'd like to. But that's not stopping me: Couchsurfing offers an amazing opportunity for people of all countries to live and make friends on an easy budget and it's tailored exactly to the community I aspire to join.

Music, Movies, and Books

I find myself becoming more fascinated by indie pop, but just I'm a fan of just about all music. As for movies, I like a good drama, my favorite has to be Shawshank Redemption. As for books, I tend to read nonfiction or books that are at least believable, my favorite must be Lone Survivor.
